Day of Life!

Yesterday was Resurrection Sunday. But I might call it something simpler. Day of Life.

Jesus didn’t just rise from the dead so we could go to heaven one day.

“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.” – ROMANS 8:11A · NLT

He beat death for us to have resurrection in our physical bodies — now. Not just your spirit. Also your body.

“And…he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”

Your mortal body. He died to give us life — now. That means your sleeping booty (if you remember our recent glute squeeze lesson), injuries, unhealthy mindsets, self-sabotage — everything not from the Spirit and not from life — obliterated.

“This truth is now being unveiled by the revelation of the anointed Jesus, our life-giver, who has dismantled death, obliterating all its effects on our lives, and has manifested his immortal life in us by the gospel.” – 2 TIMOTHY 1:10 · TPT

This changes everything.

ALL ABOUT LOVE

All things are lawful — but not all things are profitable. (1 Corinthians 10:23)

The question we’re learning to ask isn’t simply good vs. bad, right vs. wrong, or even sin vs. righteousness. It’s something deeper: Is this love? Will this help me live what’s in my heart?

Let the law be your tutor, not your master. (Galatians 3:24–25) Your master is Love. Your master is Christ.

That brownie is neither good nor bad. The question is alignment. Does eating it come from and align with love? Or am I going to be really sad later that I ate it? If I keep skipping workouts, am I going to stay sick and tired of feeling sick and tired? Love is the answer. Christ is love.

You are learning to live from the life of Christ already in you.

So when you say “I can’t…” Let’s be honest — is that a true, physical, “can’t”? Or could it be a belief? A pattern? A usual response? A habit of thinking?

There is one “can’t” that Jesus backs with the divine stamp. He said you and I can do nothing apart from Him. But with Him, He said all things are possible.

So in honor of Christ’s resurrection that interrupted death, lies, and everything that steals our joy — we interrupt the old.

The Shift

  • “I can’t go.” -> I can go. I just need to choose what matters. And I can be honest about it.

  • “I can’t do this.” -> I can learn.

  • “My body won’t.” -> My body can grow stronger.

  • “I don’t have time.” -> I need to create space for it.

This is what it means to be a new creation. Not just forgiven. Not just hopeful. Capable in a new way.

PUSH THE EASY BUTTON

Trust the process. This is about learning how to live from the life of Christ already in you. Not with pressure. Not with willpower. But with this:

“Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty. – ZECHARIAH 4:6

The heart of it is God in everything, including you. Powered by the Holy Spirit — not willpower. Health you can keep.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Today, don’t try to overhaul your life. Just ask. Seek. Knock. (Matthew 7:7) One step at a time. One yes at a time. And let life meet you there.

SAY IT OUT LOUD: MY YES IS YES.

Because life is now working in you.
